About the Showcase

The UAA College of Business and Public Policy began its annual Showcase event in 2022 to bring the community to its home on campus, Rasmuson Hall.

The Showcase brings together faculty, staff, alumni, community members, business partners and more in a celebration of the College’s dynamic programs.

The Showcase is a 21+ event that features:

  • beverages & delicious food

  • networking opportunities

  • short, interesting sessions

  • live music

  • photo booths

2022

The 2022 Showcase reinvigorated Rasmuson Hall with a fun in-person event after a time of 100% online activities and classes brought about by the pandemic. Guests enjoyed wine, food and a peek at several of the College’s programs. All participants celebrated as the College launched its new Seawolf Stock Ticker.

2023

CBPP 50 years in the making round logo

The 2023 Showcase celebrated the College’s 50th anniversary, with the theme “50 Years and Counting.” In addition to wine, beer, food and a fun photo booth, guests enjoyed live music, info sessions, and celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new First National Bank Alaska Finance Lab.

2024

The 2024 Showcase highlights the College’s leadership in the field of AI, with the theme “Innovate Together: Unleashing potential with Artificial Intelligence.” Featured speakers from within and outside Alaska give participants specific examples of how AI has impacted their businesses.
